Foz do Iguaçu/Brazil is a base for exploring Iguassu Falls – one of the New7Wonders of Nature and the world's largest and most impressive waterfalls. The Iguassu Falls extend over 3.000 meters in the border between Brazil and Argentina in a semicircle shape surrounded by two National Parks, which are listed as World Heritage Site by UNESCO and protect a vast array of wildlife. Besides enjoyng the falls, there are many additional tours inside and outside of the Brazil National Park such as boat riding, rafting, bike riding and birdwatching, and also other attractions in the area such as Bird Park, helicopter ride, Itaipu Dam, cultural tours and ecotourism activities.The city is less than two hours flight from São Paulo or Rio de Janeiro.
